New paint job with my 8 year old cover
Hello,
In December of 2000 we purchased a Deluxe Cabin Cover for our 1974 Cessna 182.
Since that time, it has covered our little bird 360+ days a year, in the harsh northern Illinois winters and blazing sun summers. I wish I could take that kind of beating and still look as good as the cover it does!
I have have to do a few minor repairs, particularly restitch the "darts" contouring the windscreen.
When it came time to repaint my aircraft, my number one priority was to make sure it still looked good with my Kennon aircraft cover!

One thing I did was to put a piece of foam pipe insulator on the strap going to the tail tie-down ring. This helped keep the strap from slapping against the bottom of the aircraft. (I have since swapped it out for a sturdier foam swim noodle).
Thanks again.
Best Regards,
